Pigeon Couriers uses a wide range of protective materials including foam inserts, bubble wrap, corrugated boxes, and antistatic covers based on item sensitivity. For valuable or delicate items, we recommend using additional internal padding and tamper proof layers to reduce movement and prevent breakage. Packaging materials are carefully selected for each item’s shape, size, and weight.
Temperature sensitive goods like medicines or food are packed using insulated containers, ice packs, or gel packs to maintain freshness and stability during transport. We do not accept items packed in weak, broken, or leaking containers. Similarly, packaging like loose bags, thin plastic sheets, or old boxes are rejected to maintain safety and avoid transit issues. Items containing dangerous goods or needing special permits must follow regulatory packaging rules. Improper packaging can cause delays or lead to return of the item. As part of our green initiative, Pigeon Couriers supports the use of recyclable materials such as kraft paper, biodegradable fillers, and reusable containers. Proper labeling is required on all packages. This includes sender and receiver information, tracking number, and handling marks such as Fragile or Keep Upright. Clear and readable labels help our team sort and deliver shipments quickly and accurately. Proper handling instructions also reduce the chance of damage during transit and support on time delivery.
